Orientation

Attendance is required to participate at URTV.  Orientation includes an overview of participation at URTV and an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Orientation is free and open to the public every Wednesday from 6-7 pm at URTV.  Please arrive on time or early.

Core Certification Courses 

Producers may sign up for Core Certification Courses.  Completion of each course certifies a producer for use of specific URTV resources, including Field Gear, Studio A, Studio B, Studio C (Radio) or Editing.

If you have your own equipment, you are not obligated to attend certification courses before submitting programming.  However, you will not be eligible to use URTV's equipment unless certified by URTV.

Field Gear

Producers must attend prior to reserving cameras, lighting, and audio equipment

$50 total for the workshop. Each workshop consists of two sessions scheduled on consecutive Tuesdays. Space is limited so please bring or send payment to URTV to reserve your seat.

Editing

Studio A

Producers must attend prior to reserving time in Studio A

$75 total for the workshop. Each workshop consists of four sessions scheduled on the same day in consecutive weeks. Instruction allows hands-on time with the equipment, with the end result of a live broadcast during the final session.

Studio B

Producers must attend prior to reserving time in Studio B

$50 total for the workshop. Each workshop consists of two sessions scheduled on the same day in consecutive weeks. Space is limited so please bring or send payment to URTV to reserve your seat.

DJ Certification

Producers must attend prior to reserving time in Studio C for Internet Radio Programming

$50 total for the workshop. Each workshop consists of two sessions scheduled on the same day in consecutive weeks. Space is very limited so please bring or send payment to URTV to reserve your seat.
